Mathematics

Michael Woltermann is a professor in the Department of Mathematics. He teaches courses in algebra, group theory, combinatorics, geometry, number theory, spreadsheets and mathematics. Dr. Woltermann enjoys mathematical problem solving of all sorts, and have submitted both problems and solutions to many problems in The Mathematical Monthly, The Mathematics Magazine, and Math Horizons. He also plays the cello with the Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra.
