Olin Fine Arts Center’s numerous spaces are available to students for use and, in general, scheduling is not required.
• Practice rooms do not require reservation, though some are reserved for studio lessons each week. In this case, a schedule will be posted on the door.
• Classrooms are open to students as long as they are unlocked and empty. After using a classroom, students must return the space to its original configuration. For instance, if students move desks aside to create room for a group rehearsal, they must return the desks to their original position to be ready for class. Additionally, piano benches, chairs, and stands should not be removed from any room.
• The hall is also available to students as long as it is open and the stage is empty. The Music Department shares its spaces with other departments, and if the hall is decorated for an event or the stage is set up for a theater production, students should not use the room. Students can reserve the hall by contacting technical director Dan Shaw at dshaw@washjeff.edu.
