DUBJAM Celebration to be Held at W&J on Saturday

WASHINGTON, PA (May 1, 2013)—The first-ever DUBJAM, culminating with the annual Spring Concert featuring Big Sean and King Los, will be held May 4 beginning at 10 a.m.

The all-day, outdoor affair, sponsored by the Student Activities Board and Student Government Association, is open to students, faculty and their families, and the community. Daytime activities will include a Ferris wheel, a Velcro wall, and various performers around campus. The concert begins at 8 p.m. on the lawn in front of the Howard J. Burnett Center on Wheeling Street. Gates for the concert will open at 7:30 p.m.

The new event is a combination of the Street Fair and Spring Concert, separate events that have been held in the past. For those who have not reserved his or her free student ticket, extras can be purchased for $10 through the Business Office.

A variety of food vendors, as well as the Student Activities Board, will provide refreshments.

The Student Activities Board is the largest student club at W&J and plans activities for the College community every weekend throughout the academic year.
