Experiences: Magellan Projects- Dominican Republic; conducted medical mission work. Cusco, Peru; conducted a research project  to understand the impact of Washington & Jefferson College students starting a medical mission, as an extension of Presidents Without Borders, in both the high and low altitude communities of Cusco.
                     Research Internship- University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Department of Immunology under the direction of Drs. Finn and Cascio as part of the 2008 HHMI Undergraduate Biological Science Education Program Grant

Favorite place on campus: I love sitting and talking in the adirondack chairs around campus, wherever they may be.

Favorite Food on campus: Tater Tots from The Commons with a nice chicken parmesan sandwich would make me happy everyday of the week!

Advice to prospective students: Get involved early and try to understand what you would like to pursue during the next three years. There is no time to be shy.
