Congratulations and Welcome to President Haring-Smith. President with medal of officeDr. Tori Haring-Smith was officially inaugurated as 12th president of the College on October 22 in W&J's Henry Memorial Center. The rainy weekend could not put a damper on the inaugural festivities. 
The weekend began on Thursday, October 20 with the "Tori Tour"—a tour of the congratulatory signs made by students for the president and her family. Friday brought the dazzling inaugural dinner dance and the next afternoon saw the official inauguration ceremony, followed by a reception and football game versus Bethany College (a 63-0 blowout for the Presidents).
Many thanks go out to those who made the event the rousing success it was, especially the inauguration committee chaired by Mary Beth Ford and John Plante. A special note of thanks to Nancy Byrnes of Nancy Byrnes Events and her production team for their assistance.
