Gai, Zheya
Areas of Study
Zheya Gai is a professor in the Department of Political Science and director of International Studies. Dr. Gai teaches courses in international relations and comparative politics with an area emphasis on China and East Asia. She also teaches a course in empirical research methods. Her research interests include China and the World Trade Organization, trade politics and China trade in the United States, globalization and income distribution, etc. Dr. Gai is a member of the Curriculum and Program committee, a member of the Off-Campus Study Advisory committee, and an advisor of the Asian Students Association.
