Daniel Stinson is an adjunct professor in the Department of Religious Studies. He teaches classes in “Introduction to Religion,” “Introduction to Christianity,” “Introduction to Islam,” and “Religion in America.”
Dr. Stinson earned his B.S. from Union College (Kentucky) in Secondary Education with specialization in Social Studies. He studied at Wesley Theological Seminary (Washington D.C.) and received his Masters of Divinity from the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He received a Doctor of Ministry from United Seminary (Dayton, Ohio) with a focus on “Intergenerational Christian Education,” during which time he was mentored by Mr. Fred Rogers. Active as a tour guide, Dr. Stinson has led seven educational tours to Israel, three to Jordan, two to Egypt, a Methodist Heritage tour of England and Scotland, and to Greece and Turkey to follow the steps of the Apostle Paul’s second and third missionary journeys.
Rev. Stinson is currently serving as part-time pastor of the Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church in Ellwood City, Pa.
