CARETAKERS OF A LEGACY

W&J's dedicated donors have been entrusted to help the College maintain the resources necessary to fulfill its mission:

  • To graduate men and women of uncommon integrity, competence, and maturity who are effective lifelong learners and responsible citizens, and who are prepared to contribute substantially to world in which they live.

Our donor society members provide important support to the College that allows us to respond to our most immediate and pressing needs and take advantage of unique opportunities to help us reach our mission.  Two important societies that help us achieve this are:

John McMillan Society

John McMillan Society Members are leaders in providing the dollars that comprise the W&J Fund.  Contributions received from our John McMillan Society members enhance the lives of W&J students and faculty.

The Society recognizes individuals who give to the College at an exceptional level.  John McMillan Society contributions are invested in the critical resources that set W&J apart as an outstanding institution.

All alumni, parents, and friends who make an annual gift or gifts totaling $1,000 or more become members of the John McMillan Society.

Help insure continued excellence at W&J through your membership in the John McMillan Society.

For more information on joining the John McMillan Society, please contact Lori Dougherty, Annual Fund Officer, atldougherty@washjeff.edu.

Old Main Society

The Old Main Society is an honorary association of generous donors invested in the future of the College.  You are invited to join this elite group of alumni and friends by including W&J in your estate plans.  Please consider:

  • Including W&J in your will
  • Naming W&J as a beneficiary of an IRA or retirement plan
  • Establishing a charitable trust or gift annuity for W&J that provides you with a lifetime income
  • Using life insurance as a gift to the College
