Rosalie Carpenter is a professor in the Education Department and the co-certification officer for teacher certification programs at W & J. She is the founder and director of the early childhood and elementary education programs as well as an active instructor in the Prek-4, 4-8, Special Education and Secondary Education Program. She teaches courses in education and specialized courses for the child development & education major including but not limited to reading, writing, curriculum, differentiated instruction, assessment, and students with special needs. Dr. Carpenter's primary research interests are in inclusive teaching, internships and their effects on teaching, multiple intelligences, learning strategies, the Standards Aligned System (SAS) and national common core standards-based education. For the last several years, Dr. Carpenter has presented these topics at International, National, Regional, and State conferences.
