Scott Elliott is an active performer and teacher in the region.  In 1995, he developed and implemented the guitar studies program at West Virginia University, where he continues to teach.

An active performer, Elliott has collaborated with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, National Philharmonic Orchestra, Wheeling Symphony, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Michael Feinstein, Patti LuPone, Bernadette Peters, James Galway, Chaka Khan and others.

Elliott graduated cum laude from the Berklee College of Music with a diploma in Professional Music.  He also holds a master’s degree in music theory from Duquesne University and continued postgraduate studies in theory at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music.  He studied classical guitar with Nels Leonard Jr. and Lance Gunderson and jazz guitar with Bill Breshnahan, Jon Damian, Brett Willmott, Joe Negri, and Gene Bertoncini.
