Areas of Study
Sharon Taylor is an associate professor of French and Chair of the Department of Modern Languages. She also teaches courses in both the Gender and Women's Studies Program and International Business Program. Dr. Taylor's research interests include 20th-century French and Quebec literature by women, utopian and fantastic writing, and feminist and gender theory. Her current work combines feminist, psychoanalytic and sociolinguistic approaches to the study of utopias by contemporary francophone women writers.
