Baroffio Having Breakout Season For Presidents

WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Washington & Jefferson College sophomore wide receiver Alex Baroffio (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) is having a breakout season through six games for the Presidents’ NCAA Division III football team. Baroffio’s 44 receptions, 707 yards and six touchdowns are the most by a W&J receiver through six games since Todd Fry ’03 had 45 catches for 873 yards and eight touchdowns during the first six games of the 2001 season.
On Saturday at Saint Vincent, Baroffio had 13 receptions which marked the second-best, single-game receiving day in school history. Jordan Roycroft ’10 had 14 catches last year at Thomas More to establish the record.
Baroffio, who also had a career-high 187 yards against the Bearcats, has four 100-yard games this season.
In 17 career games, Baroffio has produced 74 receptions for 1,079 yards and 10 touchdowns.
