Bethany Hands W&J Volleyball 3-0 Defeat

Bethany, W.Va. – Washington & Jefferson was swept 3-0 (25-21, 25-12, 25-9) by Bethany in volleyball action Tuesday night.
With the loss, the Presidents fell to 8-18 overall and 3-13 in the PAC. The Bison raised their record to 27-4 and 14-3 in conference play.
Freshman Megan Stoehr (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) notched her fourth double-double of the season, as she handed out 11 assists and tallied 11 digs.
Sophomore Samantha Chorney (Greensburg, Pa./Greensburg Central Catholic) and senior Alyssa Vukson (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) led the Presidents’ defensive push with 12 digs each. Chorney also added four kills.
W&J returns to the Henry Memorial Center for the final time this season on Thursday night against Saint Vincent at 7:00 pm. The team will honor its seniors prior to the match.
