Carrie Campbell Selected As PAC Player Of Week For Sept. 19
WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Senior Carrie Campbell (Irwin, Pa./Penn-Trafford) was named Presidents’ Athletic Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Week on Sept. 19.
Campbell posted a perfect 4-0 record last week, winning two singles and two doubles matches helping the Presidents earn their first team victory of the season. She did not lose a game in her singles victory against Thiel on Saturday.
Campbell has notched a 4-1 record in singles matches this season and has won four of six doubles contests with her partner, junior Danielle Ufolla (Pittsburgh, Pa./Perry).
For her career, Campbell has 21 singles victories and 17 doubles triumphs.
The Presidents return to the court on Tuesday against PAC rival Waynesburg at 4:00 pm.
