Galligan Awarded Second Consecutive PAC Runner of the Week
WASHINGTON, Pa. – Washington & Jefferson freshman cross country runner Kristen Galligan (Frederick, Md./Governor Thomas Johnson) earned her second-straight Presidents’ Athletic Conference Runner of the Week award after finishing second at the CMU Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.
Galligan finished the 5K, 162-runner race in a time of 19:07, helping W&J finish ninth among the 13-team field.
Galligan has three top-two finishes in four races this season. She finished first at the Pitt-Greensburg Invitational on October 1.
The Presidents’ men’s and women’s cross country teams will both compete at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble on Saturday beginning at 11:00 am.
