Kelsey Kraus Earns PAC Weekly Award
WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Senior forward Kelsey Kraus (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) was named Presidents’ Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week the league announced on Monday.
Kraus helped W&J (8-5-1) to a 2-0 record with six points last week.
She scored the Presidents’ first two goals during a 6-0 victory against Chatham and added a score against Grove City on Saturday. Kraus’ two-goal game was the second of her career. She also tallied a pair of goals against Penn State-Altoona on Sept. 23.
Kraus is tied for third on the team with 15 points (6g, 3a). During her career, she has accumulated 11 goals and six assists for 28 points in 48 games.
W&J begins a three-match road trip on Tuesday when it faces Thiel in Greenville at 4:00 pm.
