Krause Earns CWPA Rookie of the Week
WASHINGTON, Pa. - W&J freshman Carl Krause (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) was named Collegiate Water Polo Association Rookie of the Week after leading the Presidents (6-7) to a perfect 3-0 record last weekend.
Krause tallied three goals and one assist in a 14-13 victory over Division II Notre Dame College. He followed that performance with a career-high four goal game against Penn State-Behrend on Saturday night. He also handed out two assists and three steals.
Krause has notched 20 goals while playing in all 13 contests this season. He has four multi-goal games and has added 11 assists and 10 steals.
W&J will compete at the CWPA Division III Eastern Championships on Saturday on the campus of Penn State-Behrend beginning at noon.
