Marcius Earns Second PAC Weekly Honor

WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Senior Chrissy Marcius (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) was selected as the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this fall on Monday.

Marcius recorded nine points in two matches last week as she set a career high by scoring four goals against Geneva and added one assist versus Franciscan.

Marcius’ four-goal effort helped her move past Toni Lynn Simonini into fourth place on both the all-time points and goals lists at W&J. Marcius has accumulated 30 goals and 87 total points during her career.  She also ranks second all-time with 27 assists.

This fall, Marcius is tied for the conference lead with nine assists and ranks third in points (23) and fourth in goals (7).

W&J (5-4, 1-0) aims for its sixth-straight victory when it travels to Westminster on Tuesday (4:00 pm).
