Marcius Named ECAC All-Star
WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Eastern College Athletic Conference released its Division III Women’s Soccer All-Star teams on Thursday and for the second consecutive season Washington & Jefferson College senior Chrissy Marcius (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) earned a place on the ECAC South Division team.
Last month, Marcius was named to the All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference First Team for third-straight year. She is a four-time All-PAC performer. Overall, Marcius was the only player recognized from the PAC.
Marcius was the Presidents’ second-leading scorer after compiling 10 goals and 14 assists for 34 points. She matched her own school record for assists and tied for 14th in NCAA Division III.
Marcius aided a W&J offense that finished 43rd in the nation in goals per game (2.89) and second among PAC teams in goal scoring (55) and assists (43).
Marcius completed her 79-game career second all-time at W&J with 26 assists, while ranking fourth in both goals (32) and total points (96).
