Nationally-Ranked Division I Teams Defeat W&J At Fluid Four

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Washington & Jefferson College women's water polo program was defeated by a pair of Division I nationally-ranked opponents on Sunday at the Indiana University Fluid Four Tournament.  The Presidents opened the day with a 15-1 loss to the 11th-ranked Hoosiers before 10th-ranked Long Beach State rolled to a 19-3 victory later in the afternoon. 

Freshman Allison Rocha (New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln Way West) netted a goal in both of the setbacks.  Junior Margot Wummer (Havertown, Pa./Germantown Academy) and sophomore Sara Boldt (Grand Haven, Mich./East Kentwood) both added goals against Long Beach State. 

Senior McKenzie Graf (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) recorded three saves in goal against Indiana, while sophomore Charlotte Lima (Brooklyn, N.Y./Choate Rosemary Hall) stopped five shots against the 49ers. 

W&J (0-3) returns to western Pennsylvania for next week's trio of games starting with Saturday's noon matchup with longtime rival Grove City.
