Robinson Earns PAC Golfer Of The Week
WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Washington & Jefferson College sophomore golfer Catherine Robinson (Troy, Ill./Triad) was named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week recently.
Robinson was the Presidents’ top finisher at the McDaniel Invitational last weekend. She shot a two-day total of 193 (100-93) and placed 32nd in the 58-golfer field.
Robinson fired the team’s low round of the season (81) at the PAC Fall Invitational in September, leading W&J to a second-place finish during the first two legs of the PAC Championship.
A first-year member of the team, she leads W&J with an average of 93.0 strokes in seven rounds this year.
The Presidents are back in action on Apr. 9 when they will compete at the Westminster Invitational (12:00 pm).
