ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Freshman Nick Scherma fired in five goals to lead Division I George Washington to a 21-11 men’s water polo triumph over Washington and Jefferson on Saturday afternoon at the CWPA North/South Tournament.

The Presidents (2-4) dropped all three matches at the Naval Academy this weekend, including a pair to Division I opponents.

W&J was led by freshman Mike Magdic (Franklin Park, Pa./North Allegheny), who collected three goals and one assist.  Senior Andy Rish (North East, Pa./Cathedral Prep) also had a hat trick to cap off an eight-goal weekend.
