Student Health Services

Student Health Services provides free, ambulatory outpatient care during the academic year while students are in attendance at the College. A physical exam is performed for students planning to participate in intercollegiate athletics.  All incoming students are required to provide a medical history, a physical examination, and proof of required immunizations.

When you are ill, you may walk in without an appointment for assessment, evaluation, and possible treatment by the College Nurse or Nurse Practitioner. You may be referred to our physician, if necessary, or to another medical specialist in the community.

A nurse practitioner maintains regular hours at Health Services and a physician from the Washington Hospital has regular hours each week. After hours or if serious and immediate medical attention is required, the student should seek treatment at the emergency room of the Washington Hospital. Students are free to find medical attention on their own at their own expense.
