Nuts and Bolts

"Nuts and Bolts" is W&J's program to help you get ready to begin classes at W&J. Dates for "Nuts and Bolts" are set up on an individual basis and can be scheduled to take place throughout the months of July and August, for new transfer students starting in the fall semester, and December and January, for any new students starting in the spring semester. All transfer students and spring starting freshmen must attend a "Nuts and Bolts" program before beginning classes at W&J.

Durng your half-day "Nuts and Bolts" program, you will take a placement exam in math and meet with an advisor to discuss your course selections for the upcoming semester. You will also have an opportunity to talk to representatives from the Office of Financial Aid, the Business Office, and the Office of Student Life.

You can schedule your "Nuts and Bolts" program by contacting Amanda Gunther, assistant director of new student programs, by phone at 724-503-1001, ext. 3033 or by email at agunther@washjeff.edu.
