W&J Student Handbook / Campus Life / U. Grant Miller Library

U. Grant Miller Library
Our Library is a great place to study, but it has a lot more than peace and quiet to offer. The Library welcomes socializing and collaborating among faculty and students. Open 109 hours a week, it can be the last remnant of hope when you’re looking for company or want to hang out and explore the newest books and journals. The Library also supports the latest in PC technology with scanners and software for editing digital images and making PDF documents.

The Library staff is a friendly bunch and is happy to assist you with all your information needs, including research, answering computer-related questions, or sorting through the hundreds of thousands of print and electronic resources available in-house and online. They even offer a course in research skills to help you navigate your way easily through the ever-growing print and electronic information tools and services available to you, and help you build confidence and know-how to perform academic research quickly and most effectively!

One other perk about the Library: they have a wide selection of mainstream videos and DVDs that you can check out for free or view in the Library. Some sample titles: I, Robot, Eternal Sunshine, American Splendor, Shrek 2, and many others. Of course, they have educational videos, too.

Library hours are affected by Holidays and Term Breaks. See their Website for details http://www.washjeff.edu/library.

Hours during regular session are as follows:
Monday - Thursday - 8:00am to 2:00am
Friday - 8:00am to 9:00pm
Saturday – 9:00am to 6:00pm
Sunday – 11:00am to 2:00am
