W&J Uncommon Grants

We have four Uncommon Grants that are in urgent need of your support. The Uncommon Grants serve to highlight current projects on campus aimed at specifically enhancing the W&J experience for all students.  These projects enhance the W&J classroom curriculum and advance our students into their future.

Just as you were, today's students are being transformed by their experiences at W&J. These projects help make those transformations possible.

These projects cannot be successful without your support. Please make a donation today to an Uncommon Grant project and support W&J students.

Scientific Small Computing Unit

The addition of a small computing cluster to W&J science labs will enable our students and professors to more readily complete computation-intensive scientific calculations for their research. This technology drastically decreases the time it takes to complete large calculations increasing the research that can be done at W&J.

The use of a scientific computing unit will give W&J students a step up in their post-baccalaureate education and work. You can help advance the research done at W&J by giving to this project today.

"Make a Pitch" contest

The annual "Make a Pitch" contest, hosted by Carnegie Mellon University, provides undergraduate students the opportunity to pitch a new business concept to a panel of experienced judges.

This competition would allow W&J students the opportunity to observe and learn from a variety of presentations and critical feedback from the panel.
