Hello there! Thanks for stopping by the personal side of my web page. Let me tell you a few things about myself.
I am currently an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, PA (located about 30 miles southwest of Pittsburgh). I finished graduate school at the University of Virginia in August 2005, and my wife Leanne and I moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan directly afterward so that I could teach for two years at Kalamazoo College. In January 2007, we welcomed Caroline Isabelle into the world.
Other interests of mine? I enjoy reading, most outdoor activities, and sports. I have recently started to roast my own coffee beans. I am also languishing as a Baltimore Orioles fan, hoping for a radical MLB realignment that puts the Red Sox and Yankees in a different division.
