About Kelly Knapp

President John Knapp’s wife, Kelly, enjoys being an active volunteer leader and organizing programs and mentoring opportunities for students. She leads the spouses’ program for the annual Oxford Conclave on Global Higher Education and is a regular program facilitator for the Council for Independent Colleges Presidents Institute. She is also active in organizing campus hospitality, alumni activities, and donor relations.

Before the Knapps joined W&J, she played a similar role in the President’s Office at Hope College. Earlier in her career, she was editor of the internal newsletter of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. A native of Tucson, Arizona, she is a journalism graduate of Georgia State University.
