The Association for Women in Mathematics is an organization to support females in the field of mathematics.
SGA is the representative entity for the student body. SGA, through Class Representatives and the Executive Board, perpetually serves to improve the student experience on campus.
The Accounting Society serves to benefit the accounting students at Washington & Jefferson College by encouraging scholarship, community engagement, and discussion.
Helping students with life after college with resume workshops, handshake tutorials, and guest speakers, etc.
Biology Club is a student-led organization with the goals of acting as mentors to younger biology students, participating in outreach events in the surrounding communities, and educating the general public in biological sciences.
Historically, this club focused on medical mission trips to places like Peru and Costa Rica; while we hope to resume these trips soon, we have preoccupied our time with volunteering and fundraisers. We like to serve as mentors for the underclassmen pursuing a science-related degree, but we invite anyone on campus to join.
The NSLS is the largest leadership honor society in the United States. Our NSLS chapter at Washington & Jefferson College was started in 2017. Our local chapter is part of the national organization with 700+ chapters and over 1.4 million members. Students are selected based on exemplary academic achievement. As of 2021 we have 580 members…
