Introduction to Conflict and Resolution Studies

An interdisciplinary course open to all students but required for students completing the conflict and resolution studies minor or concentration. The course provides introduction to theory and history in the field. Students learn to analyze interpersonal, intergroup and societal conflicts from multiple perspectives and to comprehend the complex values, motives, reactions and circumstances involved in conflict from different cultures and various historical periods. While open to all students, preference is given to those who have declared the concentration or minor in Conflict and Resolution Studies.
