Teaching the Diverse Learner

This four-credit course focuses on in-service participation as a full-time teacher’s aide in an early childhood, elementary, secondary ESL (English as a Second Language / ELL English Language Learner) and/or special education classroom setting. A seminar / research component focuses on successfully understanding, analyzing, evaluating, and teaching the ESL / ELL learner.

A full-time internship at a school is required.
