Emily Sciulli – Here and There

Opening Reception and Artist Talk: Friday, February 2, 6-7:30 p.m.
Using ephemeral materials, Emily Sciulli’s work explores the relationship between everyday objects, spaces and experiences. Sciulli combines elements of sculpture, performance, printmaking and drawing to transform interactions with the physical world into records of personal and shared experiences. Stains, shoe prints, fingerprints and other residual markings echo throughout Sciulli’s work, emphasizing the oftendiscarded evidence of human presence in the world.
Emily Sciulli is an adjunct faculty member in the Art Department at Washington & Jefferson College. She received her MFA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Indiana, Pa. and her BA from Washington & Jefferson College, Washing
