Amy Hoss has over 18 years of student financial aid experience at four-year private institutions. Amy came to Financial Aid Services (FAS) in 2017. As a consultant, she supports financial aid offices across the country. She provides Interim Staffing, Consulting and Assessment services to improve business processes, strengthen compliance efforts and enhance student satisfaction.
Amy’s career began as a counselor, but it quickly transitioned into leadership roles. She has served as a director for eight years at three different institutions. Most recently, as the director at Bethany College, her focus has been on developing practices to better serve students, educating the campus community of financial aid policies, and implementing sustainable procedures. During her time at Bethany College, she also oversaw a Department of Education program review.
Amy is experienced with several financial aid software systems, including College Board PowerFAIDS, Jezabar EX and CX, CampusVue and the U.S. Department of Education’s suite of applications and website for administering federal student aid. Over the years, Amy has been active in financial aid associations in Wisconsin and Kansas.
Amy received her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Ashford University.
