Cory Christenson, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor of Physics; Director of Biological Physics

Degrees: Ph.D., Physics, University of Arizona; B.A. Physics, Gustavus Adolphus College

Dr. Cory Christenson comes to Washington & Jefferson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Gustavus Adolphus in Minn. and a Ph.D. in Physics from University of Arizona. His research interests are in organic polymers and dyes for optics-based technologies, such as solar cells, holography, and data storage. Most recently, he was a visiting professor at Case Western Reserve University for three years, where he taught intro and upper-level classes, and mentored numerous undergraduates in meaningful research projects.
