Mark Petrovich is an Instructor for the English Language Institute at Washington & Jefferson College. Petrovich graduated from IUP in 1993 with a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL). He has taught in Hungary, Spain and Turkey. While in Turkey he taught at Istanbul Technical University for five years, focusing on academic writing and TOEFL skills. He also served as curriculum coordinator and academic skills instructor at Istanbul Bilgi University.

Petrovich’s professional interests include curriculum development and technology in education. He speaks Turkish fluently and has worked in cinema, radio and television in Turkey. In his free time, Petrovich enjoys birdwatching, gardening and juggling.
