Zachary Klingensmith, Ph.D.

Degrees: Ph.D. in Economics, West Virginia University; B.A. in Mathematics and Economics, Washington & Jefferson College

Zachary Klingensmith is a visiting assistant professor of economics in the Department of Economics and Business at Washington & Jefferson College. He teaches Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Environmental Economics, Mathematical Economics, and Experimental Economics. His primary research areas are local economic policy and the economics of pork-barrel spending. Additionally, he is heavily involved in the creation of open educational resources meant to reduce the cost of course materials for students. He currently uses many of those resources in his principles classes.
