Maybe you know your goal is medical school. Or maybe you're not sure yet where you're headed. Both paths are possible at W&J College. Here, you'll discover limitless connections. You might uncover connections between cuisine and communication that will make you a better cook and a better doctor, or unearth a passion for wildlife conservation through one of the student clubs.

What or whom was your favorite class or professor? Why?

My favorite class was ENG 250: Plantation Women, Black and White, with Dr. Jennifer Harding. Dr. Harding’s teaching style was one of my favorites, and the stories she chose were an outstanding fit for the class.

“The Magellan Project is a fantastic opportunity for students at W&J, and I am incredibly grateful for the funding and help I have received from the Magellan Committee,” Seabury said. “Learning how to go out of my comfort zone and develop adaptability and self-reliance, as well as learning more about how nature influences mental health, will really help prepare me for my future career.”
