Black Student Union

The purpose of the Black Student Union is to cultivate a comfortable environment for Black students at W&J by promoting an educational, social, and cultural venue. The Black Student Union will promote recognition of Black students on the Washington & Jefferson College campus in addition to being an avenue that will enact social change. The Black Student Union will act as a conduit between Black and other minority students, faculty, and administrators. The Black Student Union will assist other organizations involving campus-wide issues or events and encourages all students at Washington & Jefferson College to participate.

Commuter Student Association

Our mission is to support W&J commuter students through community building, information distribution, and more.

Dance Team

Sports & Fitness
The Washington & Jefferson College Dance Team performs at various functions including basketball and football games, parades, and at least two dance competitions throughout the school year, one of which we host ourselves. Our intercollegiate dance competition, Spring Fling, allows us to bring together other teams to celebrate the efforts and talents as well as raising funds for a different non-profit organization each year. The team practices twice each week to deliver the best possible performance to represent the W&J name. The W&J Dance Team's mission is to represent the college's integrity, hard work, and unity to inspire its audience to pursue the same.

Delta Gamma

Delta Gamma prioritizes academic excellence, participation in student organizations, and participation in varsity athletics. Our chapter has been awarded with the highest Greek Life GPA award for most semesters since 1980; members of our chapter are a part of numerous honor societies on campus, as well as members of student government, model united nations, and others, and we have members on every sports team at W&J. Our outstanding campus involvement has helped us serve not only our school community and our sorority, but the neighboring Washington community as well by being able to volunteer with the Vision Services of Washington-Greene, where we aid the blind and visually impaired.

Disc Golf Club

Sports & Fitness
Intramural club for students interested in playing disc golf.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

W&JEMS is a Quick Response Service (QRS) licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to provide emergency medical care on campus.

Equestrian Club
