Student Health and Counseling Center

Student Health Services Clinic

The Student Health and Counseling Center is located on the ground floor of New Res Hall and is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The Health Center is open on Mondays and Fridays from 8:00 am to noon and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The center provides basic health services for students as well as counseling services. A College Nurse sees students on a walk-on basis. The Washington Family Medicine Office (5 minutes away) serves as our campus clinic when a physician's care is needed. The Health Center staff can assist students in obtaining transportation when a visit to Washington Family Health is indicated. While students can go to the full-service clinic at any time, dedicated appointment times are available each afternoon and on some evenings.

The counseling center is available to students on campus. Students are usually seen by appointment (to schedule a first appointment please select the “Schedule Now” button). Students in crisis are also seen on a same-day, walk-in basis.  An Urgent Care hour for this purpose is available Monday through Friday from 3-4 pm. The counseling center also provides outreach and prevention programs to help students stay well.

For medical emergencies, students should contact Campus & Public Safety, 911, or go to the Washington Hospital.
