My experiences with the W&J Wind and Jazz Ensembles broadened my understanding of music history and helped conceptualize music theory. Having a wide range of instrumental experiences also inspired me to take advantage of other opportunities off-campus. As a result of my time with the Music Department, I plan to pursue a doctoral degree in music after graduation.
