Before coming to W&J I knew I wanted to study music, but I did not have any background in music and was nervous about pursuing it because of this. As soon as I was introduced to the faculty in the music department, they immediately began talking to me about my desired path and helped me to plan for my future. I was able to choose courses that interested me while learning how to apply the information learned to my future career. By the end of my first semester, I had already learned so much useful information and quickly realized the path to a music career via a music major was very obtainable. I will be attending graduate school in Music Industry and would not be able to do so without the help of the faculty in the music department!
