W&J Faculty and Staff,

We are thrilled to welcome you back to our on-campus dining venues this fall. As we’re sure you are aware, W&J Dining has made several changes to accommodate state and local directives around the COVID-19 pandemic. You will find directional signage at each station. Due to limited seating capacity in our dining areas as we commit to our social distancing protocols, we are asking that during the fall semester, all faculty and staff who choose to dine with us purchase their meals as takeaway options and leave the available seating for our students. We do offer overflow seating for takeaway in the Rossin Ballroom, for faculty, staff and students who are interested in this option.

We’re happy to share that though some of our services may look different, the $5 meal price at the Commons for faculty and staff remains the same. This semester, all meals must be purchased by using Jay Cash or a credit card; cash will not be accepted. All dining stations will be served by our staff members for the time being, meaning that self-serve stations like the salad bar will be adapted to a full-service model. Also during this time to limit potential spread, we are asking you to refrain from using any reusable mugs or cups when taking away a beverage.

Although we are offering limited service hours in Commons until Sept. 5, regular hours will resume on Sept. 6. X’Prez’O is now open with limited hours from 11 a.m. -2 p.m., Monday through Friday, and will open on Sept. 6 at 2 p.m. and resume regular hours on September 7. We are pleased to announce that this semester, X’Prez’O is now a “Starbucks We Proudly Serve” location with a full Starbucks beverage menu, homemade pastries, and fresh, upscale sandwiches that will be toasted to order. X’Prez’O is also offering a 10% discount to faculty and staff. G&T’s will open for meal service on Sunday, Sept. 6th at 2 p.m. Both venues will follow social distancing protocols and include markings on the floor to help facilitate this process. More information to follow.e floor to help facilitate this process.

A future communication highlighting new members of our W&J Dining Team will be shared soon!
