Rebecca Hamlin Green artworkSeptember 7-October 14, 2018

Opening Reception and Artist Talk: Friday, September 7 at 6-7:30 p.m. Closed for fall break October 6-9

How much do we project onto and anthropomorphize non-human beings in order to hold a mirror to our longing to relate to nature? Using both traditional and unexpected materials, Rebecca Hamlin Green examines elements of social and personal identity through associations with the built and natural environment. Hamlin Green aims to examine our relationships with animals, wild and domesticated, in order to investigate larger notions surrounding our historical role in controlling our immediate environment, through living and non-living interactions.

Rebecca Hamlin Green lives and works in Chicago, IL. Hamlin Green received her MFA from The University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ and her BA from Bradley University, Peoria, IL.
